IMEA: Cotton production, area and yield data in Mato Grosso, Brazil

On June 06, the monthly report released by the Mato Grosso State Agricultural Economics Agency (IMEA) in Brazil showed that the cotton planting area in the state in 2022/23 is expected to be 1.1776 million hectares, maintaining the previous expectation unchanged and maintaining the previous expectation unchanged ;

The expected yield per unit area is 4174.0 kg/ha, maintaining the previous expectation unchanged, an increase of 12.27% from the previous year’s forecast of 3718.0 kg/ha;
