Asia’s largest thermal power carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage project put into operation today

On June 2, Asia’s largest thermal power carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage project – National Energy Group’s Jiangsu Taizhou Power Plant Project was officially put into operation after several days of full-load operation. It can capture and absorb 500,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year.

The project is completely independently designed, manufactured, and installed by China. It is currently the CCUS project with the highest technical content in the thermal power industry in Asia. The carbon dioxide capture rate is greater than 90%, and the dry basis carbon dioxide purity of the output is greater than 99%. All indicators are at the leading level in the industry .
