China’s gold futures fell 0.32% on May 19

Beijing, May 19th, today, the gold futures contract of the Shanghai Futures Exchange fluctuated at a low level during the day, with active transactions and reduced positions. The 2308 contract, the main force of domestic gold futures, opened at 448.70 yuan. As of the day’s close, it closed at 447.62 yuan, down 0.32% or 1.44 yuan; the settlement price was 447.30 yuan; the trading volume was 203,726 lots; the position was 179,045 lots, and the daily position decreased by 6,810 lots .

As of the close on May 18, the most active June gold futures price in the NYMEX Gold Futures Market fell by US$25.1 on the 18th from the previous trading day, closing at US$1,959.8 per ounce, a decrease of 1.26%.
