Beijing, May 18 News Today, the crude oil futures contract of the Shanghai International Energy Trading Center fluctuated upwards during the day, with active transactions and increased positions. The 2307 contract, the main domestic crude oil futures, opened at 506.8 yuan. As of the daytime close, it closed at 518.0 yuan, an increase of 2.21% or 11.2 yuan; the settlement price was 514.0 yuan; the trading volume was 168,648 lots; the position was 38,442 lots, and the daily position increased by 1,695 lots .

As of the close on May 17, the price of light crude oil futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose $1.97 to close at $72.83 a barrel, an increase of 2.78%; London Brent crude futures for July delivery rose $2.05, or 2.74%, to settle at $76.96 a barrel.
