KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures exhibited gains in early trading on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives.
As of 9:20 AM, the August 2024, September 2024, and December 2024 futures contracts increased by 6.5 points, reaching 1,637.5, 1,617.5, and 1,623.5, respectively. Meanwhile, the March 2025 contract rose by 4.5 points to 1,611.0.

Trading volume stood at 1,338 lots, with open interest at 46,753 contracts.

The FBM KLCI index advanced by 0.38 points to 1,635.70, compared to yesterday’s close of 1,635.32, after 41 minutes of trading.
