KUALA LUMPUR — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower this morning.
As of 9:19 AM, the August 2024 contract fell by 4.0 points to 1,588.0. The September 2024 contract decreased by 5.0 points to 1,569.0, while the December 2024 contract lost 7.0 points to 1,571.0. The March 2025 contract declined by 9.5 points to 1,560.0.

Trading volume reached 2,510 lots, with open interest at 44,019 contracts.

By 9:38 AM, the FBM KLCI index had dropped 3.79 points, standing at 1,588.96, compared to Wednesday’s close of 1,591.87.
