KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 2 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower this morning.
As of 9:58 a.m., the August 2024 contract fell by 16.0 points to 1,615.0, the September 2024 contract dropped 14.0 points to 1,598.0, the December 2024 contract decreased by 12.5 points to 1,605.5, and the March 2025 contract slipped 15.0 points to 1,597.0.

Trading volume reached 2,962 lots, with open interest at 46,731 contracts.

At 10:11 a.m., the FBM KLCI index fell 13.94 points to 1,610.31, down from the previous close of 1,624.25.
