Gold and silver prices experienced gains in early trading on Tuesday, reflecting a positive shift in the precious metals market.
The price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 10, reaching Rs 69,170 per ten grams, according to data from the GoodReturns website. Similarly, silver saw a rise of Rs 100, with the price for one kilogram climbing to Rs 85,100.
The cost of 22-carat gold also went up by Rs 10, now priced at Rs 63,410 per ten grams.
In major cities, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold is consistent across Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, standing at Rs 69,170. However, in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price varies slightly, with ten grams of 24-carat gold priced at Rs 69,320, Rs 69,170, and Rs 69,970, respectively.
For 22-carat gold, the ten-gram price in Mumbai aligns with that in Kolkata and Hyderabad, at Rs 63,410. In contrast, prices in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai are slightly higher, with ten grams of 22-carat gold priced at Rs 63,560, Rs 63,410, and Rs 64,140, respectively.
