USDA Monthly Outlook: Expected U.S. soybean production to drop to 4.253 billion bushels in 2023/24

On July 10th, Reuters announced the data forecast for US crop production in the USDA July supply and demand report. Analysts on average expect:

① US soybean production in 2023/24 is expected to be 4.253 billion bushels, with an estimated range of 4.176-4.314 billion bushels.

② US corn production in 2023/24 is expected to be 15.234 billion bushels, with an estimated range of 14.884-15.53 billion bushels.

③ The US soybean yield in 2023/24 is expected to be 51.4 bushels per acre, with an estimated range of 50.5-52 bushels per acre.

④The US 2023/24 corn yield is expected to be 176.6 bushels/acre, with an estimated range of 172.4-180 bushels/acre.

⑤ U.S. wheat production in 2023/24 is expected to be 1.683 billion bushels, with an estimated range of 1.637-1.730 billion bushels.
