CBOT soybean futures fall for second day, corn near five-week low

On June 28, according to media reports, CBOT soybean futures fell for the second day in a row on Wednesday, and corn futures weakened further, as expectations that some drought-stricken areas in the United States will face rains weighed on prices.

Wheat futures fell to a one-week low as concerns over Russian supplies eased. Forecasts of rain later this week and into next week eased fears of dry weather.

While the weather outlook boosted optimism about supplies, questions remained about demand for U.S. grains given fierce global competition for export business.
