IMEA: Mato Grosso state corn production, area and yield data

On June 6, the monthly report released by the Mato Grosso State Department of Agricultural Economics (IMEA) showed that the state’s 2022/23 corn planting area is expected to be 7.4174 million hectares, maintaining the previous forecast unchanged, compared with the previous year’s forecast. 7.1472 million hectares increased by 3.78%;

The yield per unit area is expected to be 104.29 bags/ha, maintaining the previous expectation unchanged, an increase of 2.09% from the previous year’s forecast of 102.23 bags/ha;

The output is expected to be 46.4136 million tons, maintaining the previous expectation unchanged, an increase of 5.87% from the previous year’s forecast of 43.8386 million tons.
