Canadian canola exports increase by 8.1% from the previous week

On May 26th, the latest data released by the Canadian Grain Commission shows that as of the week ending on May 21st, Canadian canola exports increased by 8.1% from the previous week to 128,600 metric tons, compared to 119,000 metric tons in the preceding week. From August 1st, 2022 to May 21st, 2023, Canada’s canola exports reached 7,024,500 metric tons, an increase of 52.9% compared to the same period last year, which was 4,595,100 metric tons. As of May 21st, Canada’s commercial canola inventory was 904,800 metric tons.
