New York WTI crude oil futures closed lower on Wednesday, after the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported the first increase in crude oil inventories in four weeks. WTI crude oil futures for delivery in June on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell $1.15, or 1.6%, to close at $72.56 per barrel.
