Eurostoxx Futures Edge Up 0.1% in Early European Trading

by Jennifer

European markets opened with a mixed sentiment on Thursday, as futures across major indices showed modest movement. Eurostoxx futures were up 0.1%, while German DAX futures remained flat. The UK FTSE futures managed a slightly stronger start, rising 0.3%.

Tech shares are driving the early momentum in Europe, supported by a positive outlook from the U.S. markets. Nasdaq futures are up 0.5%, largely due to Tesla’s earnings report, which exceeded profit expectations after hours. This optimism has also lifted S&P 500 futures by 0.3%. However, Dow futures slipped 0.1%, reflecting a more cautious sentiment that appears to mirror the mood in European indices as the session gets underway.
